  <item><title>ICA project workshop </title><description>On March 06th 2012, at Meeting  Room in Training and Education Building, Research Institute for aquaculture No1, “Impacts of climate change and adapting bio-security measures for aquaculture in northern Vietnam” has hold an external kick-off workshop. The workshop aimed to introduce each other between the project to the local and government authorities and to approach project partners.</description>

  <item><title>First fieldtrip to Quang Ninh</title><description>In March, the first fieldtrip to Quang Ninh, one of the three target provinces has been organized.The main objectives of this fieldtrip were to identify contact person who will involve project activities at each of the three provinces; to identify source of data; to choose agriculture species and areas doing research and to choose MSc candidates.</description>

  <item><title>First fieldtrip to Hai Phong</title><description>In March, ICA project has also organized the first fieldtrip to Hai Phong, one of the three target provinces. During this fieldtrip, the project team has been greeted by Mr. Dao Viet Thuan, Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ms.Vo Thi Hong Phuong- Head of Agriculture Section, Mr. Ngo Xuan Ba- Researcher, Mr. Ngo Van Tan- Researcher.</description>

  <item><title>ICA’s first fieldtrip to Nghe An</title><description>The final destination in the first fieldtrip in March to the target provinces of the ICA project was Nghe An.   <item><title>Geographic Information System Training Course</title><description>In April 2012, at Research Institute for aquaculture No.1, ICA Project has held a Geographic Information System (GIS) training course . Participating in the course were Dr. Phan Thi Van, Leader of the Institute, Director of ICA Project; Dr. Nguyen Huu Ninh, Deputy Director of the Institute; Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Project Research Coordinator; MsC. and PhD. candidates; local officers in the target provinces and other project staffs. Lecturer of this training course were GIS specialist came frome Hanoi University of Mining and Geogology.</description>

  <item><title>DFC Workshop on the new administrative and financial requirements</title><description>Due to the new administrative and financial requirements to projects under the (Pilot) Research Cooperation Programme (RCP) a workshop was organised by Danida Fellowship Centre (DFC) in connection with the Annual Review Meeting in April 2013. All project coordinators and project accountants of on-going RCP projects in Vietnam were invited. The workshop was be held in Hanoi on April 15 and 16, 2013. The workshop was facilitated by Ms Anne Christensen (DFC Director) and Ms Pernille Friis (DFC Project Administrator). </description>
