Following the project’s baseline report (2012), Project Management Board has decided the three site selections for research modeling, they are:
1, Tilapia in Dong Trieu, Quang Ninh.
2, Marine fish in Cat Ba, Hai Phong.
3, White-leg shrimp in Nghi Loc, Nghe An.
Surveys to the three site selections organized from June/2013. During this trip, at each site, 20 farms are selected to do the Project questionnaire on culturing methods and adapting measures to climate change. Those selected farmers were recommended by local authorities and local farmers, based on the below criteria:
1, 10 stand-out farmers with sustainable production, steady and effectively productivity.
2, 10 stand-out farmers with in-sustainable production, low and inefficiency productivity.
Based on the data collected, a report on aquaculture models adapts to climate change.
